Blue Bottle Cafe

Local coffee purveyor, Blue Bottle Coffee renowned for its superlative hand-crafted, artisan-produced coffee, debuted its first café on Mint Plaza in January of 2008, located in the elegant Providian Loan Building adjacent to Mint Plaza. Set in a beautiful, historic building with high ceilings and natural light, Blue Bottle Café features a five-light siphon bar, manufactured by the Lucky i. Cremas company of Japan; a vintage San Marco lever espresso machine, built sometime in the late 1970s; and a Kyoto-style iced coffee apparatus, which produces a delicate, refined and fragrant cold-brewed coffee.

The Mint location is their only café with a full food program. On weekdays, they serve breakfast (8am - 11am) and lunch (noon - 2:30pm). Brunch, on weekends, runs from 8am - 2pm. Alongside a few permanent items -- Blue Bottle Benedict, Belgian-style wafel and steel-cut oats -- they offer a rotating selection of seasonal soups and salads.
